DID THE EARTH MOVE FOR YOU?

I’m seriously annoyed. Yesterday just before one, a 4.2 magnitude earthquake, the strongest for 80 years, shook the island and I didn’t feel a thing! I was sat in the car at the Princess Elizabeth Hospital waiting to collect my partner Bev for lunch. The first thing she said was ‘did you feel that?’ and explained that the Path Lab had violently shaken. My colleagues at Island FM described that it felt as if a vehicle had crashed into the building. The epicentre was south west of Jersey, around 25 miles off our south coast. Reports started coming in from all over, saturating the social and broadcast media. According to French radio station France Bleu, it was felt from the Mont Saint Michel in Normandy along the north coast to the tip of Finisterre in Britanny. Jersey and even Exeter felt the tremor but not me…
